Energy secretary welcomes David Crane as under secretary for infrastructure.
The U.S. Senate has confirmed David Crane as the Department of Energy’s (DOE) first Under Secretary for Infrastructure. Crane previously served as the CEO of NRG and Climate Real Impact Solutions before becoming the Director of the DOE’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations.
Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm welcomed the new federal leader, stating, “David Crane has spent his career in the private sector shaping the ideas and ambition at the heart of President Biden’s clean energy agenda.”
Secretary Granholm continued, “With him at the lead of this organization, the Department will be laser-focused on… deploying clean energy manufacturing and capacity, enhancing domestic energy security, creating good-paying jobs in communities across the country, and lowering costs for all Americans.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Granholm to seek God’s guidance as she heads the Energy Department.
- For Undersecretary Crane as he assumes his role in energy infrastructure.
- For members of the Senate as they consider and vote on the president’s nominees.
